The weather forecast is not great but we plan to forge ahead and get back into saddle club action.  Jods are not necessary this weekend but warm clothes are.   Until the start of March we plan to run Saddle Club for all children on a Saturday morning and then split again to cover both days. Newtonmore Riding Centre is located within the Cairngorm National Park and the scenery and wildlife will astound most visitors. We have direct access to wild country only 100m from the centre with Wild Goats and Red and Roe Deer right on our doorstep. We have rides that are suitable from absolute beginners to those wishing to do Trail Rides in true Rough Highland Country.

Children are welcome at our centre from any age and Shetland Pony rides are available for our youngest clients. We also run a weekly Saddle Club for children on Saturdays and Sundays. Children over the age of 12 who are competent can ride out with us and even younger children can go out on lead rein. Lessons in the riding school are suitable for all ages. We have Horse and Carriage rides for those not confident enough to ride themselves. We have helped make a number of movies over the years including Rob Roy, Highlander, Missionary and Monarch of the Glen. If you see a Highland Pony in a movie, chances are it is one of ours.
