Special Events

Each year we aim to run a Fun Day at Easter to start the tourist season off in style.

Last year we had a Highland Pony Fun Weekend at the end of the tourist season in October and for 2010 we hope to have a Highland Pony Show at the centre too.

If you have any ideas at all for events that we could run please let us know.

Training Info

We have a policy at Newtonmore Riding Centre to continuously develop not only our Volunteers and Staff but Clients too. Through this policy we hope to continuously make available high standards of training, courses and exams that will allow us all to progress in our own equestrian and safety knowledge.

The centre is already approved by the British Horse Society as a Training and Exam Centre for their prestigous Riding and Road Safety Tests and we even have our own resident instructors qualified with the BHS to teach Riding and Road Safety Knowledge.

In September we ran our first BHS Equestrian Touriam Course and Exam leading to the BET Ride Leader and Assistant Ride Leader qualifications and it is hoped in the future we will continue to run courses like this in association with the BHS and TRSS too.

In the future we hope to run TREC training and competitions so watch this space for more information.
