saraA very successful day was had by all at the Mundole summer show.

Elspeth and Gill, took the first of hopefully many up and coming young jockeys from the riding centre to Mundole at the weekend.

mundoleSara Cheyne aged 7 did her very first lead rein class on Pitlands Native Charmer, (Alfie) Led by Gillian who is more used to showing Highland Ponies in-hand for the Ormiston family, this was a first for all three, jockey, leader and pony. They took the first place in the lead rein class with a very smooth show. This was followed up by Bryce Rainy Brown wining the First Ridden class on Alfie. Immediately after Sara with Gillian took the mini championship. Good old Alfie.

phoebePhoebe Rainy Brown (13) was 2nd in the Novice Ridden Class and 1st in the young Horse class aslo went on and took the Ridden Championship for the show on her young coloured pony, Bentleys Dream Catcher.
